Welcome to the The Shige Japanese Culinary Affair!  It is with great pleasure that we are expanding our doors and bringing to you Shige Japanese Steakhouse, Shige's Red Carpet Fine Dining at the Terrace and The Sake Martini Bar and Lounge.  Serving the Treasure Valley for over 18 years in the art of sushi, Shige is now returning to his roots and taking on the world of Teppan-Style cooking and the Japanese Fine Dining Cuisine.  With previous training experience in Japan and prior work experience at establishments such as Benihana and Tachibana in California, Shige Matsuzawa is ready to share his culinary talents with the beautiful Boise, Idaho.  Shige, Deborah and their daughter Shirah Matsuzawa would like to express a sincere thank you for all of your support and welcome you to take this journey with us. - DOMO ARIGATO
